Job Description: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
