All patient rooms are private Treatment Team consists of RNs, Surgical Technicians Patient Care Technicians & Unit Clerks. – all located on the unit. Our team consist of **24/7** **In-House Providers** - Obstetricians - -Midwives - - OB residents - -Pediatricians - -Neonatologist - -Anesthesiologist - -CRNA - -Maternal Fetal Medicine available We require 13 weeks of orientation OB Core Course. (Provided as part of orientation) **Shifts Available:** 7:00 pm-730 am shifts. Status Available: Part time Every Other Weekend and Every other Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-Time team members. **Required Qualifications:** **Education** Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred. New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire **Licensure** · Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License. · BLS. · ACLS required for the following departments : Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency **Experience** _Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply_ - Graduation from accredited nursing program. - Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role. - Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs - Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families. - Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description. - Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care **Total Rewards and Benefits:** · Competitive compensation, DAILYPAY · Benefits effective Day One!
