What You'll Do

Leadership & Operations

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Medical ICU, Surgical/CV ICU, and PICC/IV Therapy services.
  • Maintain 24-hour accountability for department performance, patient safety, quality outcomes, employee engagement, and fiscal results.
  • Lead operational initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, patient experience, and workforce effectiveness.

Team Development & Engagement

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, and retain high-performing nursing professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, recognition, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support employee growth and professional development.

Clinical Excellence & Patient Safety

  • Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • Promote compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and clinical outcomes, implementing improvement strategies as needed.

Collaborative Partnerships

  • Build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork across departments and service lines.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to align departmental initiatives with strategic priorities and mission-based goals.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a critical care setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and operational management skills.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous Nurse Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or charge leadership experience in an ICU environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, quality initiatives, and employee performance.
  • National specialty certification in critical care or nursing leadership.
