Clinical Nurse Specialist for: C1 Medical Oncology & McGlinn Cancer Institute
- The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a registered nurse prepared as a CNS at the masters or doctoral level with clinical expertise in evidence-based nursing practice within a specialty area.
- The CNS treats and manages the health concerns of patients and populations and integrates knowledge of disease and medical treatments into assessment, diagnosis and treatment of illness.
- The CNS provides leadership for the advancement of the practice of nursing and collaborative practice with the inter-professional care team to achieve quality and cost-effective patient outcomes.
- Through practice in three spheres of influence: patient-client, nurses and nursing practice, and organization / system.

- Oncology Experience Preferred
Certification and Licensure
- Population-level credentialing as a CNS through the ANCC or the American Association or Critical Care Nurses Certification Corporation OR CNS license through the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing
