Holiday Rotation: 

Department: Med Surg/Telemetry

Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position utilizes the nursing process and organizational/leadership  skills to coordinate services of staff to patients during the designated shift. Assures patient care is  appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served. Assesses staff need for the unit,  collaborates with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to  ensure patient’s needs are met.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred


Minimum Experience/Skills:
Minimum of three (3) years acute care/telemetry experience or, equivalent RN skills as described for designated unit


Licenses/Certificates/Credentials: 
Current California RN license 
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA certified) 
Current ACLS certification (AHA certified)
Current CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (within 3 months of hire/ transfer)
