1.    SERVICE

4.    FINANCE
•    The employee displays financial responsibility and makes good use of resources working toward the hospital’s mission and goals.
•    The employee works efficiently and makes good use of time streamlining duties and focusing on tasks.

5.    GROWTH
•    The employee engages in personal and professional development to improve competency using ongoing self-appraisal and assessment.
•    The employee finds new and better ways to do things and makes recommendations to director or utilizes the Dynamite Idea process.
•    The employee identifies and completes tasks without prompting and steps in to meet department needs as they arise.
•    The employee works positively with coworkers to produce results and treats coworkers with courtesy and respect.

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Certification
•    Post high school vocational/specialized training
•    Current California Vocational Nurse license
•    California IV Certification
•    Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience
•    2-4 years experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in acute care
•    1 year experience in an emergency department
