**Job Description:** As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Public Health Nurse provides a full range of community-based public health nursing services including pre and post natal care, immunization, health appraisal and screening, communicable disease follow-up and health counseling. The Public Health Nurse participates in community health initiatives utilizing collaborative and collective approaches to health in partnership with the community.

**Experience**

- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Minimum of one (1) year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset.

**Education**

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

**Licenses**

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

**Knowledge and Abilities**

- Knowledge in population and public health concepts

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
