**Job Description:** The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

**Education**

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

**Licenses**

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

**Other Education and Training**

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
