Description

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with Social Care experience to join our team as Professional Nurse Educator Lead across our social care division. If you’re passionate about developing people, improving nursing practice and bringing teams together to make a difference, this could be your next move.

You’ll lead the professional and educational development of the Social Care nursing workforce, working closely with the Head of Nursing and key stakeholders to identify priorities and shape solutions.

You’ll design, deliver and evaluate engaging, evidence-based education and practice development programmes that build confidence, capability and improve nursing practice. You’ll also lead and develop the Professional Nurse Educator network within the division, creating a collaborative approach to sharing best practice and embedding learning across services.

You’ll oversee student, preceptorship and early career development, while using feedback, quality data and evaluation to measure impact, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure learning translates into sustainable practice.

What you'll bring to the role

You’ll be a Registered Nurse with experience working in residential mental health, learning disability or neuro-rehabilitation and experience in nursing education, professional development or practice improvement.

You’ll bring strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence, facilitate and engage colleagues across the division.

You’ll understand adult learning and know how to turn identified development needs into practical, engaging education that makes a difference to practice. You’ll be collaborative and inclusive in your approach, with a passion for developing others, building capability and creating lasting change.

Experience in quality improvement, coaching, action learning or Professional Nurse Advocacy would be desirable.
