**About the Role**

Join our team as an Associate Nurse Manager - on a part time, fixed (12 month) or ongoing basis to work out of Dandenong Emergency Department.

This is a nursing leadership role representing an integral link between the nursing team and the broader leadership team. You will be approachable, articulate, and a mentor who leads by example. You'll thrive supporting nurses whilst working closely with the Nurse Manager to help drive the operational requirements and key performance indicators of the department, delivering outstanding patient-centred emergency care.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and attributes:

- Proven people and communication skills, including relationship building, cooperation, conflict resolution and facilitating open discussions
- Demonstrated recent leadership and management experience, including coaching, development and managing performance within a nursing team
- The ability to drive a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement, with strong organisational and time management skills

Key requirements of the role:

- A postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing, Leadership and Management, or a related field (desirable)

- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)

**Why you will love working with us**

Ours is a connected team with strong shared values and an unwavering commitment to excellence. We are a highly skilled, collaborative, and welcoming team where the only limit in your career is you. Upon your appointment, we will provide you with:

- A supportive and cohesive sub-team, working within a larger consumer relations team
- Professional development courses, seminars and mentoring
- Opportunities for you to use your experience in the role to inform and drive initiatives within the broader units and programs
- Salary packaging
