You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. **How you’ll contribute** A **Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** who excels in this role: - Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. - Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. - Documents patient care provided. - Assists RN with development of plan of care. - Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. - Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. - Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. - Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. - Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. - Maintains regular and reliable attendance. - Performs other duties as assigned. **What we’re looking for** Applicants should have a current state LPN license.
