LPN - Employee Health & Wellness - Bridgeton

A.  Education:  Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program (LPN)                  

B.  Experience:  Minimum of three years clinical experience in an acute care setting.  Prior computer experience required with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

C.  Certification/Licensure:  Current LPN licensure in the state of New Jersey.  BLS certification.         

Knowledge & Skills

Performs point of care testing; maintains current certification

Safely performs and documents other procedures according to policy

Communicated effectively with registered nurses, and other EH staff

Documents care provided, changes in condition, and revisions in clinical plan of care

Reinforces teaching regarding medications, dosage, frequency, and common side effects
Reinforces other areas of patient and teaching, documenting their understanding and resolution

 Interacts with employees in a positive and supportive manner

Schedules employee appointments as needed

Prepares paperwork prior to all scheduled visits

Maintains all aspects of record keeping for employee health programs

Answers telephones, files employee health records, enters data into tracking systems

Works under the direction of the Medical Director, Employee Health Director, and Employee Health Manager

Performs clinical aspects of employment physicals

Administers and tracks vaccines for compliance under direction of the registered nurse

Administers and interprets skin testing for TB screening, respiratory fit testing, and other surveillance as needed

Performs chain of custody urine collection testing

Performs medication administration as needed

Collects data of compliance and reports to Employee Health Manager
