**Summary of the role:**

**➢ Performing all aspects of the dialysis procedures as per prescription.**

o To be involved in day to day patient management.

oBefore starting dialysis: Assess hemodynamic status, indication of dialysis, vascular access and any comorbid illness.

o During Dialysis: Overall direct monitoring including dialysis prescription, care of vascular access, adequacy of flow, complications and maintain liaison with and follow instructions of the Nephrologist

o Following instructions of the Dialysis Doctors

o Conveying to the dialysis doctor any new event/change in patient status and recommending changes in the treatment based on the current needs of the patient

o Maintain and Supervise Dialyzer reprocessing.

o Entry and maintenance of records of all patients and produce them for medical auditing.

o Disinfect Haemodialysis machines as per required rooms

oChecking the patients' vital signs and talking with them to assess their condition.

o Educating the patients about their disease and its treatment and answering any questions

o Overseeing the dialysis treatment from start to finish

o Making sure patients are given the correct medications ordered by their doctors

o Evaluating patients' reaction to the dialysis treatment and medications

o Supporting the entire Dialysis team in delivering quality care in a considerate, respectful manner

o Primes dialyzer and bloodlines.

**Qualifications:** BSC Nursing || GNM || ANM || Diploma of Health Assistant || DGNM -Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery || Diploma in Medical Nursing Assistant

**Experience and Characteristics:** 0-3 years || With Positive Attitude, Team Player and Patient Handling skills
