Hourly Pay Range:
$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
- Position: RN, Cardiac Imaging
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital
- Part Time, 32 hours per week
- Day shift with a rotating schedule, typically Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Position includes on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend coverage.
What you will do:
- Perform stress testing.
- Conduct patient assessment and collect health data involving the patient, family and other healthcare providers.
- Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care, evaluate patient progress and document patient health data, interventions and communications.
- Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
- Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessed learning needs.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research and remain current on research and practice trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through professional networking, ongoing education and self-directed learning.
- Support staff in using research and providing evidence-based care and contribute to the professional development and clinical education of peers, students and other healthcare providers.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
What you will need:
- Education: Nursing Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Certification: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Cardiac Imaging
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Solid Critical thinking skills, Prior Stress testing experience preferred
