Deaconess Illinois is looking for a **House Supervisor RN** to join our team at Union County Hospital! As the House Supervisor, you will play an important role in coordinating daily hospital operations, supporting nursing staff, promoting patient safety, and ensuring resources are available where they are needed most. You will serve as a resource and leader for staff, helping navigate staffing challenges, patient flow, emergency situations, and operational needs. If you are a strong clinical nurse who enjoys being a team resource and leading by example, we'd love to hear from you! #### What You'll Do - Provide leadership and operational support to nursing staff and hospital departments. - Coordinate staffing needs and help ensure appropriate resources are available to provide safe, quality patient care. - Serve as a resource to Charge Nurses and assist with staffing decisions and problem-solving. - Support patient flow, bed placement, admissions, and discharges to promote efficient hospital operations. - Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue, Rapid Response, and other critical events. - Assist with quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and required audits. - Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams to address operational challenges. - Support staff through communication, coaching, teamwork, and clinical guidance. - Serve as the administrator designee for hospital operations when the administrator on call is unavailable. - Step into a patient care assignment when needed to support critical staffing needs. #### What We're Looking For - Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program required. - Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred. - Ability to effectively manage an ICU patient assignment as the primary RN. - Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills. - Ability to make sound decisions and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. - A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient safety and quality care. #### Required Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire. #### Why Join Deaconess Illinois?
