How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Join an established team of 2 physicians and 1 APP
  • Practice setting: outpatient
  • Call Structure: evening call split 1:3
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care by assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex acute and chronic neurological conditions in close collaboration with attending physicians.
  • Guide diagnostic and treatment plans by ordering and interpreting advanced diagnostic studies to build precise, individualized care strategies.
  • Empower patients and families through proactive education on neurological conditions, treatment pathways, and lifestyle management to support long-term quality of life.
  • Ensure seamless care continuity by coordinating multidisciplinary referrals and connecting patients with vital healthcare and community resources.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

  • Master's degree of Nursing required.

Additional Preferences:

  • 2 years of Neurology APP experience
