**Do you have knowledge of DCP and D-MAR (electronic care plans and medication systems)? - PCS and Camiscope experience preferable but not essential**

We’re looking for a Deputy Care Home Manager to support the Home Manager in leading our friendly and dedicated team at Millfield Care Home

**About the Role:**

As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care to our residents. You’ll lead by example, support staff development, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the home. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior carer, team leader, or deputy looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.

**What You’ll Do:**

Support the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home

Ensure high standards of person-centred care

Supervise and mentor care staff, supporting professional development

Oversee care planning, audits, and compliance with CQC standards

Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external agencies

**What We’re Looking For:**

Previous leadership experience in a residential or nursing care setting

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

A caring, proactive approach and strong organisational skills

Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures

A team player with a genuine commitment to high-quality care
