The role involves data analysis, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. **Work Hours/Shifts**: Day Shift Position M-F 8 hr shifts No weekends or holidays. **Job Responsibilities**: - Provide education: Help train nursing staff and other clinicians on trauma-related protocols, guidelines, and quality initiatives. - Collaborates with trauma registrars to ensure the accuracy and validity of data entered into the trauma registry, which is used for analysis and reporting. - Act as a liaison: Serve as a communication link between the trauma and quality programs and other hospital departments. - Other duties as assigned. - Ensure regulatory compliance: Monitor practices to ensure they align with the standards of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for trauma center verification and other state or federal regulations. - Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings: prepare and present cases at trauma peer review meetings and other committee meetings involving physicians, nurses and other care providers. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Proficiency with trauma registry software, electronic medical record systems and data analysis tools.
