Job Description:
Schedule: 4 days week (alternating days off), 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
$15,000 Sign On Bonus - For Eligible Candidates
Call 7-10 days with 1 weekend a month. Rolling Schedule
Up To 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement, aligned to education and certification progression to support career growth.
- The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech / Scrub Registered Nurse RN maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.
- Produces accurate and timely medical records for each patient based on the scope and complexity of the intervention procedure and patient clinical conditions.
- Trains and supervises new personnel, providing orientation and ongoing education.
- Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and enforces safety regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech / Scrub Registered Nurse RN has knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation Required
- Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy Required
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy Required
- Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring Required
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals Required
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry Required
- Ability to monitor patient blood pressure, ECG, and Pulse Oximetry using sophisticated clinical equipment Required
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Required
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English Required
- Preparing and positioning patients and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately Required
- Preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations Required
- Observing patient during procedure and reporting abnormal activity. Monitoring protocols and recommending updates or refinements as warranted Required
- Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines Required
- Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures Required
- Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards Required
Education:
- Associate Required
Work Experience:
- Cardiac Cath Lab Tech / Scrub Registered Nurse RN experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) Required AND
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required OR
- Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) Required OR
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required OR
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required OR
- Cardiovascular Interventional Tech Cert (CVIT) Required OR
- Licensed Paramedic (PARA) Required OR
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
Pay Range:
$27.68 - $55.47
